Documentary Film: Accredited Course

There are just a couple of
places remaining on this year’s OCN* accredited
Documentary Film-making - Developing Video & Film Production course. Over twelve weeks you’ll learn the main production principles then research, develop, schedule and produce a short documentary film.
If you're looking to develop
your film-making skills for business, CPD or fun,
then this course is for you. *Accredited by the National Open College Network, the course offers three credits, which can accumulate towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Effects: Working in 2D + 3D

award-winning film-maker James
Price returns to
The Engine Room on Monday 27 February with his course on After Effects.
In this one day session you’ll
gain knowledge and practical experience in how
to set up a project, work with 2D and 3D layers compositing and adding effects including light and camera angles. You will also learn how to animate layers, use key frames and timelines to create something like this.

piece of creative software...
